Me and Mum at my Private View

Image

Last night was my Private View at the Princess Hall and it went really well.  Lots of people turned up and it was lovely to see people that I hadn’t seen for a long time.  I sold lots of greetings cards and the prints, and also two more paintings.  That makes three altogether so far.  This is a picture of me and Mum before it all started.

On Saturday I’m doing a ‘meet the artist session’ at the Hall and I looking forward to talking to more people.

I’m so happy that lots of people love my work, because I love painting.

About Tazia Fawley

I started painting seriously about 10 years ago. My main interests are sea-scapes and land-scapes. I live in Somerset in the UK and have had a number of local exhibitions. I enjoy working in acrylic paint and find that it is a versatile medium and sympathetic to my way of working. I am a self-taught painter and am fascinated by colour, pattern and design.

We really enjoyed the private view and are absolutely delighted by our very special purchase – a very beautiful painting which we can’t wait to pick up and hang on the wall at home. We hope you had a fabulous evening – the first of many more to come! Well done Taz, you’re a real star!
