Sunset Over The Sea

Sunset Over The Sea

Acrylic on Board.  Size 50 x 50 cms.  SOLD.

I thought that now I’ve finished the Christmas card, I would go back to putting some more of my seascapes on my site.  This was one of the first that I did.  I like the way the orange light catches the rocks.  I’m working on another painting at the moment, which is of the White cliffs of Dover and that is at sunset too.  It looks a bit warmer than the Christmas card!

Sorry, Ann.  I’ve tried to persuade Taz to let you have the painting, but at the moment she is adamant.  She wants to keep it hanging on her wall.  Sorry, that I had not edited the blog previously to change it to NFS.  My fault.  Hope you can find something you like.  Gylda

Wonderful colours and shapes. How you see the light and shadows with such precision is fantastic, I can’t wait to see the White cliffs come alive! As always your work is inspirational Taz.

Another lovely scape. I too love the orange on the rocks, a really warming sunset, and the sea makes it so very romantic and thoughtful too. I also can see the true colours of a sunset in the clouds, brilliant interpretation! x

This is a beautiful piece of work, so relaxing to look at! I love the way you’ve been bold and just interspersed simple, but so effective, shapes. The absence of detail is what makes this so calming I think. Gorgeous work!
