Spring Flowers

Acrylic on Board.  Size 40 x 60 cm.  Sold.

A Spring painting.  The flowers make wonderful shapes and patterns.  And I contrasted the plain areas of different purples and mauves with the jumble of the flowers.  I wanted to feel that there was a lightness about the painting that showed that Spring was here.

About Tazia Fawley

I started painting seriously about 10 years ago. My main interests are sea-scapes and land-scapes. I live in Somerset in the UK and have had a number of local exhibitions. I enjoy working in acrylic paint and find that it is a versatile medium and sympathetic to my way of working. I am a self-taught painter and am fascinated by colour, pattern and design.

I have a print of this painting in my living room and it looks amazing. Wish I could have bought the original. The colours are bright and fresh and it makes me feel happy when I look at it.
I have already bought two original paintings, so I’m a great Tazy fan. love Gill

Particularly liked New England Beach, I think that most of these designs would looked great worked in textiles, possibly Collage. Look forward to seeing more, I just love your style.
